The PRC also known as Professional Regulation Commission has finally announced the November 2011 Dentistry Board Exam Results. 239 out of 601 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Written Phase) and 239 out of 246 passed the Dentist Licensure Examination (Practical Phase) given by the Board of Dentistry in Manila last November 2011 and December 2011 respectively.

Revised Announcement on Filing of Applications for Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.)
The PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION announces that the first Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T.) for Calendar Year 2012 will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Professional Regulation Commission discloses the need to have more optometrists, nutritionist-dietitians, guidance counselors, mining engineers, geologists, social workers, medical technologists, pharmacists, metallurgical engineers, librarians, physical therapist, occupational therapist, dentists and psychologists.
PRC Chairperson Teresita R. Manzala and Commissioner Jennifer Jardin Manalili revealed that while some professions are now suffering from an oversupply of licensed professionals, such as teachers, nurses and criminologists, many other courses have been undersubscribed in the past years. Hence, the need to inform the public of what courses and professions may be considered by graduating students and their parents for the incoming year and the years after.
During the PRC’s first Talakayan with the media which coincided with the launching of the radio show, “The PRC Professional Hour”, at DZRJ 810AM, the PRC and the 46 Professional Regulatory Boards under PRC’s supervision discussed the myriad issues about their respective boards. The media launch featured the signing of a collaborative agreement between the PRC and DZRJ Chairman, Ramon RJ Jacinto.
The PRC Professional Hour airs every Tuesday at 10AM to 12NN on DZRJ 810AM.

The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.
